The SHOSHIN Theater Association invited playwrights, actors/directors, and graphic designers/3D animators to participate in the T(H)ECHNÉ: Avatar on Stage project. From children's games to digital doubles. A stage between worlds. The project offered the opportunity to bring theater back into the spotlight by integrating Motion Capture (MoCap) technology.

We aimed to combine the tradition of puppet theater with contemporary digital means, creating a new space in which actors can redefine their expressiveness and expand their authenticity on stage. We invited participants to join our workshops dedicated to playwrights, directors, and actors, or graphic designers and 3D animators, depending on their field of expertise. Each workshop was designed to offer participants not only a context for artistic exploration, but also a valuable opportunity to update and develop their skills in an emerging digital-theatrical environment, where the boundaries between stage, technology, and performance are becoming increasingly fluid.
